Forest-walk by Grünwald

Today we went for a Sunday walk through the forest by Grünwald (just south of Munich). We were planning on walking along the Isar river, but never managed to get to it, because it was about 50m below us somewhere and we couldn't find a path down.
Because we hadn't put the off-road tyres onto our pram (it came with a set of tyres for the city and for the country-side) and the path was pretty bumpy, we ended up taking turns carrying Yana and pushing the pram, so that she wouldn't be shaken around.
She seemed to enjoy being carried through the forest and having a meal-stop on a fallen tree. She was only awake for half of the trip though.

Yana is growing and growing...

Yana is over three weeks old now and growing steadily. She has almost gained a kilo since she was released from hospital.
She hasn't settled into a real routine yet, but we see that she often has one or two periods a day were she is awake for a bit longer. During those periods she wants to be entertained and can sometimes get a little bit restless, especially if this period falls into the evening. Most of the time she is sleeping still and at night she wakes up about every 3-5 hours to feed and goes straight back to sleep again. Lindsay usually doesn't even wake up during the feeding times and gets a good nights sleep. Kerstin tries to catch up with the missed sleep by sleeping in a bit in the mornings.
We try to go for a walk in the park most days or take Yana shopping or where-ever we like to go.
