Our new place

Now that we have been living in our new place in Maidenhead for almost 5 months, it's about time that we post some photos of it.

We live in a reasonably nice neighbourhood close to a park with a great playarea. We can walk into town (in about half an hour) and the best thing: we are a lot closer to Lindsay's work. He can drive in 15 minutes or bike and train in about half an hour.

We've had quite a nice summer so far with numerous days spent outside in our garden. Yana and Anya love playing in the sandpit, riding their little bikes or scooter around, or playing with water.

In June we went to Germany and in August to Sweden, and of course both kids had their birthdays, all of which we will write about in separate posts.

Anya is eight months old already

With Anya time just seems to fly by. In a blink of an eye she is already eight months old, crawling, sitting up and pulling herself up. She made a huge leap in her development over the last two weeks, coinciding with us shifting into our new place in Maidenhead (photos of the new place to follow). Instead of causing us trouble, it was actually quite good because it kept her occupied and she was able to entertain herself while we were packing, disassemblying and cleaning.
