Changing teams?

We had cause for concern over the last few days, with the Rugby world cup in progress, Yana seemed set on switching teams - as of yesterday afternoon she had lived in Italy for over 8% of her life and was talking about duel citizenship etc.

Fortunately we managed to drag her back to Germany before the family split up over irreconcilable differences. What started out as a simple "I'm sick of the weather, what is the forecast on the other side of the Alps" almost ended up with Yana growing up alone in another country.

Anyway despite the problems it was a very enjoyable trip. The weather was fantastic and the only blemish was that I couldn't find anywhere to watch the NZ-Italy game on Saturday :-(

The sunset when we arrived in Mölten.

Yana pondering over whether to tell us she wants to support Italy in the game the next day.

Yana being abandoned at some random house before we changed our minds and decided to try and convert her back from the dark side.

Yana and Lindsay being friends again.

The view from near the village - that's a lot of apples in case you're wondering.

Where's the house...

We met up with Greig and Clare and did a few walks...

A few old mills up the valley

This kind of flower display can be seen all over the Alps, but I've never quite believed they were real (so I actually checked)
